Experience
Bob Jensen leads the private equity group (PEG) practice as managing director of national transaction support services. Jensen, who joined the McGladrey organization in 1968, has more than three decades of consulting and industry experience. He is a specialist in transaction services, having served both private equity clients and their portfolio companies. Jensen’s extensive experience providing financial and operational expertise for a variety of closely held midsized companies has led to his position as a knowledgeable business advisor to those clients.
Most recently, Jensen was the director of consulting services for the Great Lakes region, primarily responsible for the organization of RSM McGladrey’s private equity services. He was also responsible for integrating all consulting services with the acquisition of American Express Tax & Business services.
A key architect in designing RSM McGladrey’s growth strategy, Jensen spearheaded the acquisition of 24 firms representing $350 million in revenue. He was integral in establishing the firm’s Office of the Managing Partner and consolidating local offices into economic units with full-service capabilities. Jensen also worked with the Harvard School of Business on the firm’s strategic direction, concluding with the capitalization concept with H&R Block.
