Experience
Grant T. Huxham is a director with the national transaction support services practice in the in Los Angeles, Calif., office. Huxham has 16 years of public and private experience, specializing in providing financial and accounting due diligence and transaction advisory services to private equity funds, financial institutions and corporate acquirers.

His roles include identification of value drivers and deal breakers, quality of earnings and related cash flow assessments, quality of balance sheet and working capital and capital expenditure requirements. Further, Huxham has considerable corporate broking experience in communicating with, and representing clients at, the London and Johannesburg Stock Exchanges in addressing investor relations, stockholder communications and associated matters.

Huxham was previously employed as a managing director within the transaction advisory practice of FTI Consulting, Inc. Prior to that, he was a senior manager within the mergers and acquisitions practice of Deloitte & Touche.

Before leaving South Africa, Huxham was employed as an assistant vice-president at Merrill Lynch, engaged in the corporate broking department of the investment banking practice situated in Johannesburg. His responsibilities included corporate broking, investor relations and BEE transaction advice and assistance. Huxham began his career in Johannesburg, South Africa, with KPMG in the assurance and business advisory group.
