Experience
Gary Kramer is a managing director with the national transaction support services practice in the Irvine, Calif., office. He focuses primarily on closely held businesses and advises companies in manufacturing and wholesale distribution industries, as well as professional services organizations. His client service focus includes:

• Assisting clients with audited and reviewed financial statement services and analysis
• Leveraging his financial statement services to assist clients as a general business advisor and confidant, regularly assessing an organization’s structure, activities and operations
• Identifying opportunities to improve business processes to enhance operating results
• Providing merger and acquisition due diligence assistance

Kramer joined the McGladrey organization in 1979 following graduation from college. He was promoted to managing director in 1987 and began practicing in the Charlotte, N.C., office in 1988. In 2002, he joined RSM EquiCo in Costa Mesa, Calif., filling the newly established position of executive vice president of strategy. In this role, he served as a liaison between RSM EquiCo and RSM McGladrey, developing and implementing systems and processes to create cross-referral opportunities and business synergies between the organizations. In July 2006, Kramer returned to RSM McGladrey.
