Creates a five year technologyimplementation plan and budget. Requested by clubs wanting a detailedstrategic technology plan and budget.
Systems Evaluation and Selection:
Usesa structured approach to evaluating competing software solutions, basedupon the requirements established above in a RequirementsAnalysis. Includes management of vendor demos, creation of formal RFP,analysis of vendor proposals and monitoring of systemsimplementation. Requested by clubs wanting a complete projectmanagement approach.
Fast-Track Evaluation and Selection:
Assignsmany of the Systems Evaluation and Selection tasks to club personnel,while retaining the complete Requirements Analysis. Requested by clubswanting to minimize consulting fees.
F&B POS Hi-Spot Review:
Includesa focused analysis and review of the club’s F&B POS requirements,with suggestions for improvement and/or replacement of thesystems. Often focuses on operations issues rather than technologyproblems. Requested by clubs that are dissatisfied with their currentPOS system.
Turnover Adequacy Study:
Includesa brief Systems Requirements Analysis, top-side review of the systemsbeing offered by the developer, and an opinion as to the adequacy ofthe systems being offered. Requested by clubs that are preparing for aturnover.
Systems Improvement Study:
Identifiesways to enhance management information, reduce costs, reduce risk andincrease member satisfaction through improved technology. Requested byclubs that are dissatisfied with the hi-level functions of theircurrent systems but do not wish to replace them.
Network Security Assessment:
Anassessment of the club’s vulnerability to outside systemsintrusion. Includes rigorous testing of the club’s Internet securitysystems such as firewalls and anti-virus software andprocedures. Requested by clubs that are concerned about the safety oftheir networks and sensitive data.
