Women's Leadership strives significantly improve the recruitment, retention, development and leadership paths of women. Guided by a board made up of our firm's leaders, whose goal is to. To accomplish this, we focus on the following critical process areas:

Business development
Fostering business development skills is critical to our success. We focus on enhancing our women's business development skills through internal and external networking opportunities and individual development plans.

Mentoring
Developing a career is each employee's responsibility; however, we encourage mentoring to provide support and guidance. Mentors impart an objective perspective and serve as sounding boards. We continue to provide resources and programming to support mentoring efforts.

RSM McGladrey and its various programs within Women's Leadership are prominently featured in a book published by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The book, Promoting Your Talent: A Guidebook for Women and Their Firms, serves as a resource for firms wanting to improve retention and advancement of women. Since RSM McGladrey launched Women's Leadership, it has reduced its turnover rate in top female talent.
