December 13, 2006, (Jacksonville, Florida)– Gregory DeVino has joined RSM McGladrey, Inc. as Tax Services Director in theFirm’s Florida Practice.  The addition ofDeVino plays an important role in the Firm’s new focus on growing theirpresence in North and Central Florida as hewill have a lead role in the Florida Tax Practice for those regions.

DeVino’s professionalexperience includes working with two of the “Big Four” accounting firms, one ofwhich he worked with for ten years. DeVino has extensive experience in a variety of areas of tax consulting,including but not limited to structuring and entity selection.  Additionally, DeVino’s background entails supervisingthe preparation and review of tax returns for individuals and companies withrevenues ranging from $1 million to $13 billion, primarily in the automotive,consumer markets, wholesale, distribution, and manufacturing industries.  His background includes the tax provisionreview and LIFO computations for several North Florida-based public and privatecompanies as well representing several corporations before the Internal RevenueService related to various tax controversies.

DeVino is a member of theAmerican Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and a CommitteeMember with the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).  Additionally, DeVino serves on the Universityof North Florida (UNF) Coggin College of Business Alumni Chapter Board andpreviously served on the Selection Committee for the Director of the UNF CogginCollege of Business Career Development Center.  DeVino has had previous involvement with the United Way of North Florida.

DeVino earned a Master ofAccountancy with a Tax Emphasis as well as a Bachelor of Accounting from University of North Florida.
