Summary of experience
Rene Ordogne is chief of staff for RSM McGladrey, with full responsibility for enterprise-wide finance, legal, information technology, facilities management, procurement and risk management. Ordogne also serves as chief financial officer of the company.
Before joining RSM McGladrey in 2003, Ordogne spent 28 years with Arthur Andersen, including 13 years as global controller for worldwide operations. He had been a partner since 1994. While based at Andersen’s Chicago world headquarters, Ordogne was responsible for all internal and external financial reporting, planning, business analysis and partnership accounting for the Andersen worldwide organization. He led a team of finance professionals based in Chicago and Geneva, Switzerland.
Before being appointed global controller, Ordogne spent 15 years in Andersen’s audit practice in
New Orleans and
Lafayette, La. As controller, he was a key member of the transition team that coordinated the dissolution and wind-up of the Andersen global network from 2002–2003.
Education
Ordogne is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He graduated from the University of New Orleans in 1974 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
