Summary of experience
Rene Ordogne is Chief Financial
Officer of RSM McGladrey with responsibility for corporate finance, accounting
and reporting, and financial policies and procedures, as well as financial
planning and analysis. He is also responsible for financial risk management,
facilities management and central procurement.
Before joining RSM McGladrey
in 2003, Ordogne spent 28 years with Arthur Andersen, including 13 years as
global controller for Andersen’s worldwide operations. He had been a partner
since 1994.
While based at Andersen’s Chicago world
headquarters, Ordogne was responsible for all internal and external financial
reporting, planning, business analysis and partnership accounting for the
Andersen worldwide organization. He led a team of finance professionals based
in Chicago and Geneva, Switzerland.
Before being appointed
global controller, Ordogne spent 15 years in Andersen’s audit practice in New Orleans and Lafayette,
La.
Education
Ordogne is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
He graduated from the University
of New Orleans in 1974
with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
